JLS star Marvin Humes shared his children’s adorable reaction to him being unmasked on The Masked Singer ahead of the final.

On Saturday (February 7), host Joel Dommett confirmed that two stars will be leaving the competition, thus missing out on the final by mere days.

First up, it was Sloth who was voted out and it was television presenter Ben Fogle hiding beneath the mask. After his identity was revealed, he said: “It was so fun. I am so happy to have got this far. I’m not a natural-born singer, but it’s been so joyous.

“I think one of the reasons I really wanted to do this is that we so often stereotype people, and we make assumptions about who they are, what they can do, stick in your lane, but I think you reach a point in life when you can’t take yourself too seriously.”

After a second round of performances, Joel confirmed that Moth, Conker and Toastie had made it through to the final and are in with a chance of winning the 2026 series, meaning it was time for Can of Worms to leave.

It was then revealed that JLS singer Marvin Humes had been Can of Worms this whole time. After being unmasked, Marvin told Joel that his eldest child knew, but the younger two do not as he waved to them at home.

He then added: “It’s been the best show I’ve been a part of, so thank you so much to everyone, it’s been amazing!” Mo Gilligan guessed correctly, while Maya Jama was certain it could be his JLS co-star JB Gill.

Taking to his Instagram following the reveal, Marvin shared a video of him sat watching the episode with wife Rochelle and two of their three children, Valentina Raine and Blake.

As the family chanted the show’s “take it off” slogan, Blake and Valentina jumped off the sofa in excitement as they found out it was Marvin under the mask.

After Blake jumped around and screamed in disbelief, he immediately said: “I need to tell my teacher that my dad was on the Masked Singer” as Rochelle and Marvin laughed.

In the caption, Marvin penned: “The can is open!!! Surprise!!! Finally the worm is out the can!!! What a show! Absolutely loved it! For the kids reaction alone!!”

Friends of the couple were quick to comment as Sam Thompson wrote: “Best family in the world” and Fleur East added: “Aww your son was so emotional. Their reactions were amazing!”

This Morning’s Sian Welby said: “I HAVE WATCHED THIS TWICE AND ITS STILL NOT ENOUGH” and Dermot O’Leary also appeared in the comments as he left a red heart emoji.
