Away from work, they became close friends, with 37-year-old Clark attending 53-year-old Millsâ wedding to husband Sam Vaughan in Barcelona in 2024. He subsequently took to social media to gush about the ceremony, posting a snap from the event captioned: âBest wedding ever. Love u both xx.â
âRylan and Scott are so close,â said the source. âThey have done a lot of work together, but see a lot of each other socially, too.
âThey always had each otherâs backs. This will be rough for Rylan,â the source told the Daily Mail, claiming the presenter is âdevastatedâ.

Mills was abruptly sacked from his BBC Radio 2 show after allegations were made in relation to his âpersonal misconductâ.
It was later revealed that his departure was related to a police probe in 2018, when Mills was investigated and questioned under caution over âserious sexual offences against a teenage boyâ.

The BBC were made aware of the investigation in 2017, but after obtaining ânew information relating to Scottâ, bosses acted âdecisivelyâ and terminated his contract.
Outgoing BBC director-general Tim Davie later said it became âvery clearâ that the presenter had to be let go after the corporation received ânew informationâ.
During a company-wide call, Mr Davie said: âWeâre trying to act fairly. It was new information quite recently that we received that made it very clear about the decision we had to make.â
