Pregnant Nicola Roberts has shared a sweet glimpse of her growing baby bump as she revealed she’s becoming “more excited by the day” while preparing to welcome her first child.
The Girls Aloud star, 40, is expecting her first baby with her fiancé Mitch Hahn and recently posted a heartfelt update with fans as she entered the third trimester of her pregnancy.
Taking to Instagram, Nicola uploaded a mirror selfie showing off her blossoming bump while wearing black tracksuit bottoms and a matching bra. In the picture, she gently rested her hand under her stomach as she proudly displayed her changing figure.
In the caption, the singer described the post as a “bump-date” and shared how well things have been going as she moves closer to motherhood.
She wrote that it had been a little while since she last shared an update and revealed that both she and the baby are doing very well now that she has safely entered her third trimester. Nicola added that she is “feeling more and more excited by the day” and sent love to other mums-to-be, especially those expecting their first child.
With Nicola confirming she is now in her third trimester, she is at least 28 weeks pregnant and expected to give birth sometime before summer arrives.
The singer first announced her pregnancy on Christmas Day in an emotional message shared on Instagram. Posting a photo in front of a festive Christmas tree, Nicola revealed that she and Mitch had spent the holiday sharing their happy news with their families.
She wrote that they had enjoyed the “most magical Christmas Day” telling loved ones their secret, adding: “We’ve been keeping a secret. We are five months pregnant! We can’t wait to meet our little one in the spring.”
Nicola has been in a relationship with businessman and semi-professional footballer Mitch Hahn since 2022, and the couple became engaged two years later.
Despite her pregnancy, the singer continued working on stage until January, performing in the West End production of Hadestown, where she starred as the goddess Persephone.
Now, as she takes a step back from the spotlight to focus on the final weeks of pregnancy, Nicola appears to be embracing the next chapter of her life with growing excitement.
