Jill Martin, co-host of the Today show, has shared heartbreaking news that she is preparing to undergo emergency surgery following her recent breast cancer treatment.

The announcement, which comes after months of surgery, reconstruction and radiation, has sparked an outpouring of concern and support from fans and colleagues across the entertainment world.

Jill, who has openly documented her battle with the disease, revealed that complications from treatment mean she must now face another medical procedure — this time to prevent her skin from breaking down.

Despite the fear surrounding the announcement, the  TV star confirmed she remains in remission and reassured followers: “My cancer is not back.”

“I feel worn out and grateful all at once,” she wrote. “Sometimes it feels like it never really ends. And still — I’m grateful. Grateful for early action, for great doctors, and for the chance to keep moving forward.”
