Adam Thomas’ emotional confession has sparked a fierce reaction from his twin brother Scott — and fans are now seeing just how deep the pain really ran behind the scenes.
The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star, 37, stunned viewers after revealing that his time in the South Africa series pushed him to breaking point — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
In a deeply personal message shared online, Adam admitted: “He broke me in there, he pushed me to my limits… I’ve told David this and he’s apologised and that’s that. I’ve moved on now, I’m not one to hold a grudge.”
But while Adam may have chosen peace, his twin brother Scott was clearly still reeling.

Reacting publicly, Scott didn’t hold back, writing: “I wish I could have been there for you my brother… it makes me so angry that you went through that… but I’m so proud of how you’ve come out of the other side… the strongest you’ve ever been.”
‘I Wanted To Quit… But I Didn’t’: Adam’s Hidden Struggle Finally Revealed
Adam’s post painted a heartbreaking picture of what viewers didn’t see on screen.
Sharing a photo of himself looking defeated on his camp bed, he admitted the experience left him questioning himself and battling intense pain — something made worse by his ongoing arthritis condition.
He confessed: “Not going to lie, this picture breaks my heart… I thought it was all my fault. I now know that’s not the reality.”
The actor went on to describe how he was silently struggling while trying to appear strong: “My biggest fight was pretending to put on a brave face and trying to hide the pain… there were days my body just didn’t want to keep going, but I did.”
At his lowest point, Adam admitted he barely recognised himself — and came close to walking away entirely.
“I wanted to walk, I wanted to quit but I didn’t… even when it felt like too much, I never gave up.”

Jungle Fallout: Fans Furious As David Haye ‘Crossed The Line’
The emotional revelations have reignited backlash over David Haye’s behaviour in camp — particularly during a tense moment when Adam struggled with a trial.
When Adam expressed concerns about dehydration, David snapped: “Dehydrated?! We’ve all got the same amount of water! Adam is doing it and that’s it!”
The exchange left viewers outraged at the time, with many accusing the former boxer of going too far.
Even fellow campmates rallied around Adam following his post, including Scarlett Moffatt, who shared a heartfelt message: “Aww Adam I bloody love you. You’re one of the kindest men I know… if my little boy grows up like you, I’ll know I’ve done a good job.”

From Breaking Point To Strength: ‘Sometimes What Breaks You… Rebuilds You’
Despite the pain, Adam has made it clear he’s come out stronger.
After confronting the situation and letting go of anger, he said he now feels in a much better place mentally — choosing peace over resentment.
He reflected: “We all face people and situations that try to break us… but sometimes those moments are what rebuild you stronger than ever.”
And while the jungle may have pushed him to his limits, it’s also revealed something else — a resilience that even those closest to him, like Scott, couldn’t help but admire.
