Katie Price has revealed the first image of husband Lee Andrews following his dramatic release from prison in Dubai after spending several weeks behind bars.
The self-styled businessman had been detained in the notorious Al Awir prison over what has since been described as a “private civil matter”, after initially claiming he had been arrested on allegations of spying.
His disappearance last month sparked concern after he failed to appear alongside Katie on Good Morning Britain. Weeks later, it emerged that he had been held in custody in Dubai.
Reports suggested Katie had travelled to the UAE prepared to pay £6,000 to secure his release, only to discover that the situation was far more complicated, with claims that a separate legal case had pushed the amount required to as much as £140,000.

However, after four weeks behind bars, Lee was reportedly released on Friday, June 12.
According to reports, one of his first actions after leaving prison was to contact Katie via FaceTime.
“I’m excited – but trust me, I have questions,” the former glamour model told The Sun.
Katie also shared the first photograph of Lee since his release. Wearing a baseball cap and sporting a deep tan, the 43-year-old appeared healthy and relaxed despite his month-long ordeal.
The couple are expected to reunite in Dubai later this week.

Meanwhile, a friend close to Katie claimed that despite growing criticism surrounding Lee and the controversy that has engulfed their relationship, she is finding it difficult to walk away.
“Lee is out and back in his rental. He called Kate straight away, and she was thrilled – not least because she didn’t pay a penny of the £140,000 fine to get him out. Of course, she has heard the discourse surrounding him, and she’s not stupid. She knows the optics aren’t great if she stays with this man,” the insider claimed.
They added: “For whatever reason, she still loves him and is hugely physically attracted to him.”
The unexpected release marks another dramatic twist in a saga that has dominated headlines in recent weeks.
