Fans of Taylor Sheridan’s Landman have been waiting anxiously since the Season 2 finale (Tragedy and Flies, January 18, 2026). Now Paramount+ has confirmed Season 3 will not only return but expand to 14 episodes, breaking Sheridan’s usual 10-episode formula. Even more exciting: every new episode will drop on Sundays, turning each weekend into appointment television.

Season 2 Recap
Season 2 delivered chaos in West Texas: Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) was ousted from M-Tex Oil by Cami Miller (Demi Moore), Cooper Norris (Jacob Lofland) faced jail time, Angela Norris (Ali Larter) struggled with her daughter Ainsley (Michelle Randolph), and cartel boss Gallino (Andy Garcia) tightened his grip. Sam Elliott’s gravitas anchored the drama, leaving fans desperate for more.
Season 3: Bigger, Bolder, Longer
With Paramount+ confirming Season 3 in December 2025 after record-breaking streams, Sheridan is giving fans more time to immerse themselves in the oilfield saga. The returning cast—Thornton, Moore, Garcia, Lofland, Randolph, and Elliott—ensures continuity, while the expanded 14-episode run promises deeper character arcs and heightened suspense.

Fans React
Social media erupted with excitement: “Fourteen episodes, all Sundays? Sheridan finally gave us what we wanted!” one fan tweeted. Another added, “Landman is about to become the next Yellowstone—bring on the cartel wars and oilfield drama!”
With 14 Sunday premieres, Landman Season 3 is set to dominate the summer of 2026. Fans won’t just be watching—they’ll be counting down every Sunday.
“THE OIL FIELDS ARE ABOUT TO ERUPT — Landman Season 3 Storms Back With 14 Massive Episodes… and the Release Timeline Is Already Causing Chaos Among Fans!”!
tion for Season 4 of Tulsa King actually got started around the same time. So a release this year seems likely. There’s no premiere date just yet, but an educated guess would lay out a Late Summer or Fall release in 2026.
Mayor Of Kingstown (Season 5)
Probably Release Date: Fall 2026
Mayor of Kingstown has officially been renewed for a fifth season, and that shouldn’t really come as a surprise. Jeremey Renner has done a stellar job playing Mike McLusky, and the cast additions for Season 4 really lifted Mayor of Kingstown to a whole other level. Edie Falco (The Sopranos), Lennie James (Fear The Walking Dead) and Laura Benanti (Younger) were all added to the show as series regulars for this latest season, and they did not disappoint.
The only disappointing thing is that Season 5 will be the final season of Mayor of Kingstown. That does come as a little bit of a shock, since the show’s creators had previously stated that they had a “seven season plan” for Mike McLusky’s story. But they’ll be wrapping up things up a couple seasons short of that, and in a few less episodes as well. The order for Season 5 is only eight episodes, whereas Seasons 1-4 came in at 10 episodes a piece.
